Course Content
Advanced stability (trim/GM, inclining experiment, stability criteria, grain/heavy lift, damage stability, dry-docking) and damage investigation (strength, SF/BM, corrosion/metal fatigue).
Competences
Monitor trim/stability/stresses, assess the effects of damage and flooding and apply countermeasures, and interpret and follow up structural damage/defects.
Model Courses
MC 7.01 (trim & stability, stress equipment, ship construction, damage stability, IMO recommendations).
