Dra. Katrijn Verhasselt

Katrijn Verhasselt obtained her Master's degree in Nautical Sciences from the Antwerp Maritime Academy in 2013. She then studied physics at the University of Antwerp and obtained her Master's degree in Science in 2016. She worked for the Royal Observatory of Belgium for three years before returning to the Antwerp Maritime Academy. In January 2020, she joined AMACORT and began working on her doctoral research, “Long-term corrosion of gas grenades”, as part of the DISARM project.
