Course Content
Theory and simulator training on propulsion: diesel, steam and electric plants, gas turbines, propellers, typical failure causes and engine-room procedures.
Competences
Understand and correctly operate remote controls and the basic operation of propulsion plants and auxiliary systems, using correct technical terminology.
Model Courses
MC 7.01 (propulsion plant remote controls) + MC 2.07 (engine room simulator).
