Course Content

Interpretation of weather charts, climatology and local phenomena (including tropical cyclones), plus oceanography (sea state/swell, oceans and currents) with practical weather routeing.

Competences

Forecast and interpret weather and regional conditions, avoid storm situations and apply an understanding of ocean currents.

Model Courses

MC 7.01 (forecast weather & oceanographic conditions).
