Course Content

Advanced manoeuvring (heavy weather, anchoring, (un)mooring, towing, emergency manoeuvres, pilotage operations, grounding/collision) with extensive simulator exercises.

Competences

Manoeuvre a ship safely under all conditions and respond effectively to emergencies (e.g., shallow water, interaction effects, TSS/VTS, ice).

Model Courses

MC 7.01 (manoeuvring and handling a ship in all conditions).
